Fogg Moves beyond “Kya chal raha hai” towards storytelling

Can visit to Phoenix Media Pvt. Ltd. for more updates on such interesting and beautiful ads.
Scantily clad women, or 'formula to get laid', are the two things that come to a consumer's mind when he thinks about most of the deodorant brands. The reason for such thoughts is the sensuous advertising that has followed around deo brands for years where the product is shown as a medium for guys to find girls for dating or having sex. However, Fogg Deo, a product from Vini Cosmetics, attempted to break the stereotype communication with its campaign 'Kya Chal Raha Hai, Fogg Chal Raha Hai'. The messaging has been such a hit that it has gone into consumers' lingo and people use it every now and then in their daily conversations. The brand has now upped its ante and is attempting to take the deodorant communication to next level by moving on from humor to storytelling format.

Here the ads have a look:

Smelling Good is not a new category and the target audience for Fogg is still the youth. "We believe that if the brand is able to keep itself youthful, it will be able to target a larger section of the society. The campaign might also help it get new consumers who have not tried Fogg yet," add Shoor and Talreja.
