Freecharge has decided to collaborate with Whatsapp in which Whatsapp users
will have a feature from where the user can send and receive money.
This is the convenient way for users to operate;
this “chats n pay” initiative will make payment easier for users.
Users have to simply go to freecharge on
whatsapp menu, click enable in the accessibility settings, open whatsapp, type
in the amount followed by FC, and choose from send, request or recharge money
options.
Govind Rajan, COO, FreeCharge mentioned in a
conversation with Indiainfoline that social payments is great for customer
experience and also works towards building habit commerce and behavior change.
He was quoted stating that by enabling customers to pay via WhatsApp, they have
taken social payments to the next level.
