“Sometimes being someone else is Good”
Hola everyone!! How you have been doing so far? Charming, well good to hear that and I’m back with a piece of some awareness. Well I know it has been a while since I have written anything and landed on the page. But here I’m and this time I do have a story to share. It comes from one of my close one with a twist of awareness within. So, let’s get started with the scene that took place. Well, this moment took place some time back from the day I’m posting and writing.
It was the same morning as usual for her with the regular routine which she is used to following to start her day. But who knows there was something to turn up in the way. Well, she started her day as usual from doing exercises to dressing up for her office. She was late as she gets on a daily basis phuu!! Well, I think no one on this earth can change this in her ;).
Anyways let’s move on to the story she was headed towards the road to stop an auto (Public Transport) and started to bargain about the fare to reach office in the same fare she gives daily. But then there was enough of arguing with the auto driver. And they mutually got with the way of running down the meter of the vehicle and let that decide the fare till her destination to the office.
Well, in mid-way she realized that something is not right with the meter and it is definitely running at the “Fast and Furious” speed. She gave it a thought once and after some time she decided to ask the driver about the same. She asked that is your meter facing any trouble or is it not working properly? But as usual, anyone would say No and so he did. He said it is absolutely correct and working fine Ma’am.
But this is her regular route since the past 6 years to head towards her office. And the fare till that date never heads so high in only to the half of her office. She then decided to play a trick as the driver was stubborn and not ready to listen to his fault. She said him in the way that it has never happened till date and you are the first one with whom she is witnessing this high rate fare that too in the halfway of the office.
He said there is nothing wrong everything is as good as it is. She then said fine let me take the number of your auto and your name Mr. Let’s see what is good and what is not. She said don’t play the game with me and with the hold on to her courage she acted like she is some officer and does set the fare rates of the meter. This is the time driver got that it is good not to say anything as she has taken his auto number and name. She then suggested that do take care of your meter and get it right in order to not let any other passenger get trap in his ploy. And after a week his meter will be run down by a survey and one of the officers will definitely come to visit him in order to see the changes that he is asked to make in the meter. Well, I must say this also happen to take place with some indirect help of army members. As the office where she works is near to a building of army force and the auto driver was somehow believed on watching the army officers coming out of the building that she might be an officer and do have the authority to look after the auto fares.
Well, she acted like someone else on that day only to get the things on track and let other people not to get trapped in the clever auto driver tricks. She gave him the fare he deserves to make her reach to the office destination.
But you should be aware of these things as it was the morning time and she was used to the route which is how she took a step. And hopefully, it did not backfire. So, always be on the safer side and take a step wisely if you ever get into the situation like this. The moral be aware of your surroundings and wisely handle the situations because you might not get lucky all the time.
